Nicaraguan Leader Proposes Extending His Presidential Term by Another Year

Daniel Ortega, 80, has proposed another constitutional amendment to extend his time in office. It is not the first time the document has been rewritten to keep him there, and it follows his statement that Nicaragua will never again hold elections.
