Europe’s Rights Court Orders Turkey to Free Osman Kavala

The European Court of Human Rights ordered Turkey to release the philanthropist and activist Osman Kavala, who has spent nearly a decade in prison. Rights groups say the charges against him are politically motivated. Turkey has previously declined to comply with similar rulings.
