Zoo Staff Rescue 21 Near-Extinct Snails From a Remote Atlantic Rock

Conservationists found just 21 Madeiran land snails clinging to a rock on Portugal's Bugio Island and moved them into a captive breeding program. The species had been presumed lost from the wild.
