Canada Races to Avoid New U.S. Tariffs of Up to 50 Percent

Canada is racing to reach a deal with the Trump administration before a fresh wave of U.S. tariffs on its exports takes effect Wednesday. The duties could reach 50 percent on some goods. Negotiators have been meeting through the weekend.
