Copenhagen exhibition explores fashion and power in ancient Rome

A new exhibition at Copenhagen’s Ny Carlsberg Glyptotek examines how Roman clothing, jewelry and hairstyles conveyed status, Smithsonian Magazine and the museum report. Research identifies a Tiberius sculpture’s garment as originally pink. The exhibition opened October 1 and runs through March 29, 2027.
