FDA Announces a Nationwide Recall of Thyroid Medication for Reduced Potency
Levothyroxine Sodium Tablets were pulled nationwide after the FDA determined they are not fully effective. Patients on thyroid replacement are being told to check lot numbers rather than stop treatment.
