ICE Collected Nearly One Million People’s DNA Last Year, Including Children

Immigration and Customs Enforcement collected DNA from nearly one million people last year, including young children, according to newly reviewed records. The samples are uploaded to a national criminal database used by law enforcement. Privacy advocates say the scale far exceeds what Congress contemplated.
