Iranian Americans Deserve Recognition Despite Political Silence

Iranian Americans despise the Islamic Republic more than almost any group on earth, having fled persecution and lost family members to the regime. Despite their deep opposition to the Iranian government, this community is currently handing Washington to its enemies by not voting. This political apathy among a staunchly anti-regime group poses a strategic vulnerability for US foreign policy interests in the Middle East.
