An Israeli Lawmaker Smashes a Palestinian Memorial During a West Bank Tour

Knesset member Zvi Sukkot of the Religious Zionism party used a sledgehammer to destroy a memorial to Palestinians killed in the West Bank during a tour with Israeli soldiers. Video of the act drew condemnation across the political spectrum in Israel. Sukkot defended his conduct.
