Italy halves air traffic after a data transmission problem

DW reports Italy restricted air traffic to 50% of normal capacity after an overnight data transmission problem, causing delays and cancellations. Air traffic authority ENAV said it had ruled out malicious activity and was maintaining flight safety while working to restore operations.
