Modern Ports Bring Tie Fighter and X-Wing Alliance Back to Current Machines

Developers released OpenTIE and OpenXWA, modern open-source ports of the classic space combat simulators Tie Fighter and X-Wing Alliance. The projects rebuild the games' engines so they run on current hardware. Players still supply their own original game data files.
