Pentagon database raises Iran-war U.S. death tally to 21

The Pentagon’s casualty database now lists 21 U.S. service-member deaths during operations against Iran, The Hill reports. An unnamed U.S. official says two newly added entries were noncombat deaths, including Major Sorffly Davius, whose death was previously acknowledged. The change concerns database accounting, and does not mean both deaths occurred this week.
