Pregnant Nigerian Woman Widowed as Fulani Militia Attacks Village
Hours before giving birth to her first child, a 22-year-old mother in rural Nigeria became a widow after an Islamic Fulani militia attacked her community, according to International Christian Concern. The assault is part of a wave of deadly raids on largely Christian farming villages across Nigeria's Middle Belt, where militia violence has displaced families and drawn warnings of ongoing religious persecution.
