Study projects further decline in US prison admissions
A research review attributes falling US prison admissions partly to younger generations entering adulthood with lower arrest rates, Phys.org reports. University at Albany researchers project admissions could halve again within two decades. Their Annual Review of Criminology analysis uses cohort trends; the projection depends on future conditions and is not a guaranteed outcome.
