A New Immune-Blocking Strategy Improves Interspecies Organ Generation

Researchers at the Institute of Science Tokyo identified xenophagocytosis — embryonic macrophages destroying donor cells — as the process that has been limiting interspecies organ growth. Blocking it lets the donor cells survive.
