Sensor-Embedded 3D-Printed Repairs Could Help Preserve Ancient Pottery

Koç University researchers combined photogrammetry, digital modeling and 3D printing to fabricate replacement sections for damaged amphorae, with sensors built into the fills. The repairs report on the artifact's condition as well as holding it together.
