NASA reviews unsuccessful effort to raise Swift’s orbit

NASA says Katalyst’s LINK spacecraft failed to raise the Swift observatory’s orbit after communications and orientation problems. In a report published by Phys.org, the agency says it ended its involvement September 3 and LINK reentered September 25. Swift remains in orbit, but NASA expects atmospheric drag to end its mission by year’s end.
