Reported ship attacks near Hormuz reach a weekly high

BBC Verify counted 12 vessels reporting attacks near the Strait of Hormuz during October 5–11, the highest weekly total in UKMTO reports since the war began. Industry data suggest the recovery in oil shipments has slowed. Incident dates are approximate because some records use attack dates and others report dates.
