Spinach particles and red light improve failing rat hearts in small study

via Phys.org·19h ago

Phys.org reports that spinach-derived nanoparticles combined with red light improved pumping and reduced tissue damage in rats with experimentally induced heart failure. The study used six rats per group and direct heart-muscle injections. Delivery and light penetration in humans remain unresolved; the findings do not establish an available human treatment.
