Research Finds Today's Best Weather Models Would Still Struggle With a D-Day Forecast

University of Reading research finds that even today's leading weather computers, including AI-driven models, would have had difficulty producing an accurate forecast for the D-Day landings. The study used reconstructed 1944 observations. Researchers say it illustrates limits when data coverage is sparse.
