CDC survey redesign would remove disability questions

A proposed redesign of the National Health Interview Survey would cut its adult questionnaire from 482 questions to 150 and remove several disability measures, STAT reports. Advocates warn it could deepen existing gaps in counting people with intellectual and developmental disabilities. HHS said the redesign aims to lower collection costs; the changes remain a proposal.
